Corian Carpet Company was established in 1945 by Cory A. Tosoian, who had spent a number of years learning the
art of carpet repair and installation.
He purchased a warehouse in Detroit and operated a very successful carpet dealership, offering carpet sales, repair,
cleaning and other services. His
son, John, worked by his father’s side for many years, learning the skills of a successful business. In 1974, John
branched out to form his own business specializing in carpet and furniture cleaning and repair. In the years since,
Corian has expanded to cleaning leather, spot dyeing, and flood restoration, using only certified technicians.Today, the family still runs this fast-growing, well-established, professional
business serving all areas in and around the Detroit area.
